Hi everyone. Today I really want to talk about balance in life. As you may have seen on my Instagram or Facebook pages I love food and sports and I receive a lot of questions about both.
I’m a bit hesitate to answer some of those questions because I didn’t receive education in either one of the subjects, but I do like to explain what I do to maintain healthy. Now my main goal is balance. I usually tend to stay away from the processed foods, but I do get to indulge from time to time. In my regular diet I eat a lot of fruits, veggies, some fish and legumes, but sometimes I do enjoy ice-cream or pizza. When I do – I just make sure I don’t have it the next day :). Another thing I absolutely believe in is portion control. So my belly is re-ally really slow in sending the ‘I’m full message’. So I know that after eating a full meal, I’m probably still going to be hungry. I have to wait at least 15 minutes before that message kicks in. If I don’t …and eat more, I get a different message. This one says: “your stomach is gonna explode!”. This happened so many times that I make myself wait these 15 minutes before eating more. And it works!
I know guys, these tips may not have been what you would want them to be. Some of you might have wanted to get some secret-diet-tip, but for me balance is key in staying my healthy self.
