If you are a frequent reader of my blog, you already know I’m a big sport of comfort. My favorite thing about the current season is the fact that you can cozy up to all these chunky knits and mix lots of different fabrics in one look.
So how’s your weekend been so far? Mine has been a bit of a bore. My tests are coming up, which means that I have to do a lot of studying. It can be hard sometimes, balancing this blog, work and my Master, but I think the challenge isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I’m very passionate about all the things I do and I actually love setting goals and working hard to reach them. But a little break after my tests is more then welcome! Good thing Christmas is just around the corner, right ;)?
Aside from all that, let’s talk about this look! I bought this leather skirt at a Vintage store in Amsterdam (The Episode) and I’m so excited about it! It has the perfect fit and length and I really like how it gives this look a bit of a sophisticated touch, without losing its edge :). Mixing it with this HUGE jumper makes it the perfect comfy’ look for today, but if you swap the sneaks for heeled booties it makes a great office look too. There really is no ‘key’ to pull of a look like this one, because it is so easy to put together. Just find yourself a (leather) pencil skirt – if you don’t have one, put it on your wish list for Christmas. It’s the perfect basic! – and mix it with a big, warm knitted jumper. Add a few accessories and you’ve got yourself the perfect casual chic look.
Make sure to let me know what you think of this look, because I would love to know! ♥
