Hi guys! One of my new years resolutions is that I want to get in better shape. I’m already quite skinny, but I love to get a bit more toned here and there. In the past few weeks I’ve been a part of a awesome fitness routine, named: great in 8. This is a fitness and health program made especially by health club Great in Amsterdam.
For eight weeks straight we got to train twice under the guidance of one of their skilled trainers. The third training you had to do on your own and this could include lots of stuff, for instance: yoga, running etc. We also received a nutrition plan, but I have to admit I didn’t really follow it through in the way I should have. The thing I absolutely loved about these workouts was that I got into a workout routine, which was something that I totally snapped out of a while back. Every week the workouts got a little tougher and we got a bit stronger. We also had to weigh ourselves every other two weeks to check out our results. I lost a few % of my fat, but actually gained some weight. Weird how that works, huh?! And yes If I had followed the food program in the way I was suppose to I probably would have had even better results ;).
The other thing that I liked during training is that we got to team up with a buddy and for me this happened to be my close friend Liselore. Yay; the perfect workout match ever! Somehow it just always works better when you workout with a friend. When someone doesn’t feel like going you can motivate each other. So we’ll definitely keep doing our workouts together ;).
