Frozen Banana Popsicles with Chocolate

Hello summer! Well, not officially yet, but it sure feels like it. And with this kind of weather we need something to cool off a bit. I created this recipe with frozen bananas that are covered with chocolate, hemp seeds, coconut flakes and walnuts. This dish isn’t just great as a refreshment but will also be one hell of a desert (kids love them!). Go check it out!

List of ingredients

– Bananas

– One large dark chocolate bar

– Coconut flakes

– Walnuts

– Hemp seeds

– Popsicle sticks

How to

♥ Step one:

Peel your bananas, cut them in half and push the Popsicle sticks in.

♥ Step two:

Put them on a piece of (baking) paper in your freezer and leave them there for about 20 minutes.

♥ Step three:

Melt your chocolate bar au bain marie two minutes before your getting your banana’s out of the freezer. Once your chocolate bar has melted add a little heated coconut milk. About half a cup will do just fine.

♥ Step four:

You can see your chocolate is getting creamier by the second, so you have to move fast. Get your banana in and flatten the chocolate with a knife. Now you can roll your banana into the nuts and drizzle a bit of coco flakes and hemp seeds on top. Once you finished you can put them back in the freezer.

♥ Step five:

Leave them for about three hours or longer, after that it’s time to eat!
