Early Christmas Presents

Hi beauties! Guess what? Christmas is only one month away and this time of the year is my absolute favorite, because I finally get to have some quality time with my entire family ♥.

This year is different from the last few Christmases, because I’m spending it as an auntie with two very adorable boys. :-) Having them in our family means we’ll be having our Christmas dinner with four generations. How special!

Another family story that I really wanted to share with you is the story of the Sisley family.  The d’Ordano family has been managing their company for three generations already. Hubert d’Ornano launched Sisley in 1976 together with his wife Isabelle d’Ornano. Two of their children: Philippe and Christine, have been working at the company for almost twenty years now, and today Sisley is one of the most prestigious brands of the entire world.

Every year, to celebrate Christmas, the Sisley family launches a limited edition of their Eau du Soir perfume. The perfume was created in 1990 and was given to Isabelle d’Ornano as a gift from her husband, Hubert. It was her personal perfume for several years and it was only until 1999, that the perfume was (finally) released to the public. This year the Eau du Soir limited edition bottle is very eye-catching and I was lucky enough to receive one as an early Christmas present and to show it to you guys! The perfume really smells amazing and the bottle looks so lovely on my bathroom cabinet.

Like it? You can shop the Limited Eau du Soir at luxe perfume stores, or at the Sisley counter in ‘De Bijenkorf Amsterdam.’
